Dennis Michael Miller

Dennis Miller, 78, of Catonsville, passed away after a battle with lymphoma on February 12, 2025. He was born on June 24, 1946. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor.

Dennis often said that he had worked for more than 50 years before he retired, including his paper route, a grocery store cashier, and finally as a land surveyor, where he traveled throughout Maryland and occasionally overseas in his work, loving every minute of it.

His hobbies included annual vacations to Ocean City, Boy Scouts, race cars, football and art. Many have said that he was always ready to help on any project.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Grant W. Miller, Sr. and Genevieve Miller (née Scriba); his sister, Elizabeth Ehrhart; and his brother, Grant W. Miller, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Miller, as well as his loving children, Jake Miller (Denise), Casey Miller (Erin) and Mark Miller (Marcia); and his dear siblings, Greg Miller (Renee), Kevin (Mary) and Margie Schriefer (Jeff). Dennis was also a devoted grandfather to six grandchildren, Rita, Grant, Joseph, Nora, Maggie and Kent and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church (Chapel) at 10:30 am on March 8, 2025 with a reception to follow.
