It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael John Blum at the age of 80. Mike was born on April 11, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Mike left behind Barbara Blum, to whom he had been married for 39 years. Mike was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for his family and community.
Mike graduated from Loyola College in 1966. He worked as a sales rep for Dun and Bradstreet and retired in 1994. Mike received awards for being #1 sales rep at Dun and Bradstreet as well as a leader in his industry. Mike played highly competitive softball and was inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame. After retiring, he took on his passion for golf. He never saw a golf course he didn’t like.

Viewings will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm as well as 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services are under the direction of Candlelight Funeral Home at 1835 Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday October 31st, 2024 at 11am. Mike will be cremated, we ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we take our loved one, Mike, to be cremated.
