AJ was a gentle, generous and lovely soul who was loved by everyone who knew him and often had kind words of encouragement for his friends and family in need. AJ was a friend to those who were not popular in school and disarmed bullies with his words of reason and wisdom far beyond his years. He was funny and knew how to deliver a punch line and did magic tricks for his younger cousins, and when they followed him around asking him for more, he would happily oblige. AJ is loved and held dear by many and will be missed but remembered fondly and forever as a gentle soul with the most beautiful smile that is now brightening Heaven.
AJ will be fondly remembered as a friend to many, a cousin, a nephew, a student and our beloved son. Life with this new reality will never be the same, but we know that he would have wanted us to carry on as best as we can. Heaven is now his new home but he will forever live deep in our hearts.
AJ, God needed another Angel around His throne and chose you. So my love, my Angel, rest in paradise. Until we see each other again. We love you!!!
AJ is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Yvonne Nurse and his paternal grandparents, Alberto Alexander Sr. and Clarisa Alexander. He is survived by his parents Petuna and Michael Cooper and Alberto Alexander Jr. and Evelyn Santos Alexander; his siblings: Sara, Miriam, James, Eliza, Francis, Sean and Nicholas; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins in Trinidad, Cuba and the US.
