Audrey Ellen (Larson) Huseth passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 in Columbia, MD, after many years with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Linton, ND on March 19, 1938 to Edna and Harold Larson.  Audrey grew up on a farm near Temvik, ND and attended a one-room schoolhouse on the prairie until she had to move to town to attend high school. She was valedictorian of her small high school in Linton and after that continued on to college, completing a bachelor’s degree in Social Work.  Not long after that, Audrey and her husband Duane, of Tioga, ND, moved to Riverside, CA, where she worked for several years at various non-profits, including the League of Women Voters and YWCA. Audrey then took a job with the Moreno Valley Unified School District where she worked until retirement in the late nineties. She was an avid reader and walker, who loved cats, music, and the Pacific Ocean, whose waves reminded her of the waving fields of wheat back home in ND.

Audrey is survived by her son, Michael and daughter Andrea, her husband Andrew Dolbey, and their son Carl. She also leaves behind a special aunt, Grace Ragle, and many nieces and nephews scattered across the country. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister, Myrna Bossert.
