Barbara Lee Gray

Barbara Lee Gray was born on January 12, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. She lived her entire life here in Maryland. She graduated from Frostburg State University with a teaching degree. She married Gary Gray in 1965 and they bought a house in Howard County. She stopped teaching when they had their son, James Howard Gray, and became a stay at home mom.
Lee enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She and Gary were active members of Bishop Cummins Church in Catonsville where she loved to sing in the choir. She enjoyed reading and knitting and spending time with her granddaughter. Lee and Gary also enjoyed traveling, cruising, and spending a week every summer in Ocean City, Maryland.
Lee spent the last several years at Brightview Rolling Hills in Catonsville dealing with dementia. Her Lord and Savior called her home on October 17, 2023. She is survived by her son Jim, her daughter-in-law Valerie, and her granddaughter Mackenzie.
