Camilla (Stack) Kinsley, 91, passed away on September 27, 2022. Born to Frank P. Stack and Laura (Gorman) Stack on September 24, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland, she is predeceased by her parents, loving husband, Howard Kinsley, her brothers, Frank "Bud", Joe, John, and Gene and her sisters, Betty, Mary, and Monica.

Camilla graduated high school from the Institute of Notre Dame in 1949. Shortly after, she began working for the C&P Telephone Company where she eventually became Customer Service District Manager, a level of success unusual for a women of that time. Camilla developed cherished relationships during her career there and kept in touch with those friends up until her death. She retired from the phone company in 1983 after a 31 year career in order to pursue her many interests.

Camilla was an avid traveler and traveled the world with the love of her life, Howard, to whom she was married for 42 years. She and Howard were dedicated Baltimore Colt fans. They attended many home games often sitting in the "cheap seats". Throughout her life Camilla enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She and Howard often entertained on their boat, the KimCam, and, in later years, at their bayside Ocean City beach house where they moved upon retirement and downsized to a pontoon boat. They loved being on the water and sharing that appreciation with others.

Despite Howard's advancing blindness from histoplasmosis, they adapted and continued to do many of things they loved. Camilla gradually took on many of Howard's responsibilities among them, captain of their pontoon boat. Of course it was difficult for Howard to relinquish his rank. Even though he could barely see, he would often chime in critiques as "backseat captain" when Camilla was at the helm.

After Howard's death in 2010, Camilla moved from Ocean City to the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville where her good phone company friends, Johnnie, Helen, and Connie also lived and, close by, work buddy, Elaine. Camilla chose a 5tt1floor, light-filled apartment surrounded by tree tops, her "tree house". While at Charlestown Camilla made a number of friends and could often be spotted at brunch at the Fireside Dining Room with friend, Jane and side kicks, Will and Tracy. She liked frequenting shops and restaurants in Catonsville but truly enjoyed relaxing in her apartment.

While residing at Charlestown, Camilla's sister, Mary, who lived in the Towson area became increasingly ill and unable to care for herself. Camilla took it upon herself to pay for Mary's care for several months at an assisted living facility. Although she seldom spoke of it, Camilla showed her sense of responsibility and caring as she had done many times previous by stepping up when a loved one was in need.

Camilla had a sharp wit and was adept with numbers. She was known for her sense of style in fashion and decorating. She thoroughly enjoyed classical music, zither performances, BBC murder mysteries, Cutty Sark Blended Scotch, electric perk coffee, watching NFL football, and online shopping.

She is survived by her sister, Laura "Laurie", and many loving nieces and nephews.
