Carole Ann Henkel
March 18, 1941 — March 23, 2023
Carole Ann Henkel, age 82, a resident of New Windsor, Maryland, died peacefully surrounded by family on March 23, 2023. She was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Harold Lawson Pringle and Catherine Elizabeth Rau.
She is survived by her loving children, Kevin J. Calder and partner Amanda McConnell, of Hanover, PA, Jennifer L. Tichy and husband James Tichy, of Hanover, PA, and daughter-in-law Lisa C. Henkel, of Fort Worth, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John A. “Jack” Henkel, Abigail F. Henkel, Maximos A. Adams, and Brooklynn K. Adams. Her loss will be greatly felt by many other family and friends.
She is predeceased in death by her loving husband, John E. Henkel, Kathleen F. Calder (daughter) and John T. Henkel (son).
Carole was an alumnus of Mother Seton Catholic School. She enjoyed spending time with her cats, her grandchildren, a great book, and even better cocktail, and dancing in her kitchen to the music of Electric Light Orchestra.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
