Charles Reed Gayhardt

Charles Reed Gayhardt, 67, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away peacefully on September 12, 2024. Born on October 13,1956 in Waynesboro, PA, Charles (Chuck) was the beloved son of the late Elmer and Mary Gayhardt. Charles dedicated most of his adult life to working for the State Highway Administration with unwavering commitment and integrity.
He is survived by his loving siblings: Darlene Gayhardt Stang, Therese Ann Gayhardt and Michael John Gayhardt. Charles was proceded in death by his devoted wife, Sadonna Lisa Gayhardt, and his brother, Christopher Lee Gayhardt. Charles was a loving Uncle to 13 nieces and nephews. He found great joy in the company of his family and friends. He was an avid card player, a pastime that brought him much happiness throughout his life. He was also a huge Ravens fan and could be found in front of the TV every Sunday during Football season.
Charles will be remembered for his warmth, kindness and witty sense of humor.
Friends and family may gather at the Candle Light Funeral Home for A Celebration of Life for Charles on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. A graveside service at Lakeview Memorial Park will follow.
