Clara M (Bookhultz) Wollering

It is with great sadness that we announce that Clara M.  Wollering (Bookholtz) passed away on Wednesday, July 18th at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late John I. Wollering Jr.; devoted mother of Mary L. Lewis, and Carol W. Lahner and her husband Mark W. Lahner; cherished grandmother of Amanda M. Lahner, and Megan K. Lahner; loving great-grandmother of Payton Stillions, Madelynn Stillions, and Liam M. Muehlberger.  She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Known to many as an avid card player, outstanding crafter, and traveler, her favorite titles included mom, grandmother, and even great-grand mother. Too often in life, we find encompassed in the trivial day-to-day matters of life, but Clara was one who spent her days loving those around her.  From spending her days traveling with her senior group, to attending all important events for her family, she was truly the best example of what love looked like. Clara took great pride in her family, and her friends. Known affectionately as “Mimi” to her granddaughters and great-grandchildren, there was never an event that she missed. She lived the ideal life, full of hard work, true blessings and immense love. Our lives will never be the same without her, but we, as a family, are so thankful for the lesson she taught us.

Friends may call on Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 6pm to 8pm at THE CANDLE LIGHT FUNERAL HOME by Craig Witzke, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Md. 21228, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018, at 10am. Interment Lorraine Park Cemetery.
