Dale Levan Ehrhart

Dale Levan Ehrhart passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019. He was 82 years old. He was born on November 21, 1937 in the small community of Windsor, PA. He was the son of Ellis and Pauline (nee Messersmith) Ehrhart. He was married to Karen (nee Clum) for sixty-three years. He was beloved by his wife, family, his many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as his many church friends and neighbors.

Shortly after his marriage and birth of his first child, he began work at Burroughs and was involved in America’s space program as a technician in the 1960’s. By the end of the 60’s he had begun his lifelong career in sales. His journey as a salesman took him from appliances to large industrial components selling to large manufacturing companies and the federal government. He was an active salesman until he died.

Regardless of where he lived and who he worked for; he was always active in his church. He was involved in youth ministry, senior adult ministry and was a respected member of numerous church leadership teams. His love for family and church was only exceeded by his love for Jesus Christ.

Dale is survived by his wife Karen of Laurel, MD; his children Steve Ehrhart and his wife Priscilla of Clover, SC, Deborah Hefferman and her husband Pat of Bradenton, FL, Jeff Ehrhart of Laurel, MD and Donald Ehrhart and his wife Marci of Fort Myers, FL. He also had fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dale will be fondly remembered as a man who loved Jesus Christ, his beloved wife Karen and his family. He was blessed with a loving family that will greatly miss his presence in their lives. His selfless support of his wife and family will be greatly missed.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday December 28, 2019 at 1 PM at Grace Community Church, 8200 Old Columbia Rd, Fulton, MD 20759 and will be officiated by Rev. Mark Norman and Rev. Steve Ehrhart. Interment is private.
