Don enjoyed his work at SSA but retired early at 48 when SSA was changing his job. He was very good at his job and helped SSA change from paper forms to Magnetic tape for transmission and storage of earnings information.
Don was full of jokes and entertained all he met by keeping them laughing. Don loved to fish (walleye), play pool, play video poker and regular poker, bowl, play softball, play volleyball and play fantasy golf. He loved hunting when he was younger (pheasant mostly).
He loved anything South Dakota. He followed anybody on the web who played sports and was from SD. He was very tall (6 ft 7 in). He was very smart and loved talking to anybody about anything.
