Donna Lee Kruft
February 6, 1953 — January 26, 2025
On January 26, Donna Lee Kruft (McSwain), age 71 of Baltimore, MD passed away of natural causes. She was the proud mother of Danielle Maggio and Brandon Kruft; and loving grandmother of Michael Maggio, Alexander Maggio, Armani Meritis, and Aryana Kruft; predeceased by Cameron Kruft.
Donna was deeply rooted in Baltimore, having spent her entire life in the area. She was the daughter of the late Charles E. McSwain and Dorothy J. McSwain. She is survived by her two younger brothers, David B. McSwain and Patrick E. McSwain, and nieces, Chelsea, Rachel, and Natalie McSwain.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at the Candlelight Funeral Home, located at 1835 Frederick Rd, Catonsville, MD 21228 on February 6, 2025. Calling hours are from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM. A brief service will be held at the Candlelight Funeral Home at 12:30 PM. Father Mike of St. Joseph’s Monastery Parish will preside.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Luna’s House . Donna was passionate about donating to animal rescue organizations and loved her two cats, Ginger and Jasmine (Jaz), dearly.
