Donna Lynn Miracle

After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Donna Miracle, age 51, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025.  Donna faced her illness of 16 years with incredible strength, determination, and grace.  She will be remembered for her strong will to live her best life in-spite of her illness. Donna was an amazing mom, loving daughter, and trusted friend.  She was a radiant light in our lives (our bright light) and had a positive influence on everyone.

Donna was born in Pasadena, Maryland and was a resident of Catonsville.  After graduating from UMBC with a Political Science Degree, Donna began a successful career in Human Resources. She was known for her dedication to providing excellent consulting services to her clients.

Donna’s passion was centered around her family, especially spending time with her beloved daughter, Lily and her mom, Debbie.  She had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel especially to Disney World. Donna was a devoted mom, played an active role in Lily’s life encouraging Lily to learn, grow and live life to the fullest. She was so proud of Lily and the young woman she has become.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Miracle, and her step-father, Daniel O’Brien.  She is survived by her daughter, Lily Canuel, her mother, Debra O’Brien and beloved dog, Alexander Miracle.

Donna will be deeply missed, and we will carry her memory in our hearts forever.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Metavivor at https://metavivor.org.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Maryland, 21228 with a funeral service taking place at 4:00 PM. A celebration of life will take place immediately following the funeral service at Matthew’s 1600, 1600 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Maryland.
