Doris Marie (Mccauley) Haughey
March 21, 1922 — April 16, 2021
Doris Marie Haughey was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 21, 1922 to Walter and Edith McCauley. She passed on April 16, 2021, at the age of 99. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Marlin Haughey, as well as her parents, Walter Barton McCauley and Edith Marie McCauley (Nee Scheidt); brothers, William Barton McCauley and Vernon Wells McCauley; and grandson Jeremy Hetzner.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Barbara Jean Haughey and Carol Hetzner Steele (Timothy L. Steele). Including her adoring grandchildren, Jeffrey Hetzner, Angela Hetzner, Jason Hetzner, Emily Nicholls, Jarred Nicholls, Jessica Shue, Jeffrey Shue and Kathryn Steele. As well as great-grandchildren, Sydney Hetzner, Ryan Hetzner, Liam Hetzner, Nora Hetzner, Ethan Nicholls, Owen Nicholls, Aylin Nicholls, Maya Shue, Benjamin Shue and Amelia Shue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jeremy Hetzner Scholarship Fund, Mt. St. Joseph High School, 4403 Frederick Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229.
An inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery with her late husband, William Marlin Haughey will take place on Wednesday, October 11, 2022 at 11:00 am.
