Dorothy Evelyn (Welch) Beightol

Dorothy Beightol, 91, of Catonsville passed away on May 15, 2020. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia on March 2, 1929. Dorothy is survived by her six loving children: Evelyn M. Dailey, Thomas E. Beightol, Shirley A. Appleby, Ronald G. Beightol,  Mary M. Kidwell, and Paul R. Beightol and two sons-in -law James E. Appleby and Donald L. Dailey as well as 4 grandchildren, Sarah A. Appleby, Kenneth W. Kidwell, Christina Raye, and Jennifer L. Kidwell and 7 great grand children: Ariell, Aiden, Charity, Ian, Cameron, Nicole, and Phillip.She was predeceased in death by her husband of 47 years Thomas L. Beightol, her parents Nellie and Floyd Welch, and her 8 siblings: Floyd E. Welch, Raymond Welch, Robert Welch, Virginia Welch, Mary Ott, Frances Carver, Katherine Keplinger, and Mae H. Mills. Dorothy enjoyed attending church, playing bingo, eating out, attending family gatherings, and travelling with her daughter Evelyn and son-in-law Don. In lieu of flowers donations made be made to St.Gabriel Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association. There will be a safe distance public viewing  in the front atrium of the Candle Light Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 20th from 1 -3 . Burial will be private on May 22 at Holly Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m. A memorial service will be schedule at St. Gabriel Catholic Church at a later date.
