Dorothy "Dottie" Marie Frech

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Frech, a beloved mother, grandmother, and esteemed educator. Dorothy Marie Frech entered into eternal rest on August 1, 2024, at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents, William C.L. Rach and Loretta Rach as well as her late husband, Vernon Karl Frech and son, Donald Mark Frech and brothers, William Rach and Carl Rach.

Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters, Deborah Lynn Frech and Karen Denise Frech. And her cherished grandchildren, Maxim Carl Frech and Daria Elizabeth Frech.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, her spirit forever remembered for the light she brought into the lives of others.

Family and friends may gather at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd. Catonsville, MD 21228, for a visitation on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2001 Old Frederick Rd. Catonsville, MD 21228 on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10:00 am. Interment following at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, 1022 Joh Ave. Baltimore, MD 21229.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made In Dorothy’s name to the Concordia Preparatory School Scholarship Fund .
