Ekaterine Nicholas (Valmas) Pateris

On September 14, 2017, Ekaterine N. Pateris, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Katina was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas A. Pateris, loving mother of Aristides N.Pateris, Andriana Pateris and her husband David Bergander, most cherished Yia Yia to Asa Bergander and dear sister to Nicholas Valmas and Eleni Mandaraka.

She was a truly blessed and amazing woman who inspired us endlessly. She left a loving impression on everyone she met.

Katina was famous for her extraordinary talents in the kitchen and especially her delicious Greek cookies and pastries.

Katina’s beautiful smile and warm heart will be forever missed.

Funeral services and viewing are scheduled for Tuesday Sept 19, 2017 in the Chapel of the Resurrection at The Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, MD 21207. The viewing will take place from 10-11 A.M and funeral service at 11 AM.The Makaria meal will follow.
