Eleanor Theresa Sweeney Weigman of Baltimore, Maryland passed peacefully on September 2nd at Charlestown Senior Living Community at 98 years of age.  Eleanor was a loving and caring mother to her three children Colleen Weigman Frank( George Andrew) of Severna Park, JoAnn Weigman Schab ( Raymond James) of Kailua, Hawaii and Vincent James Weigman Jr (Christine) of Berlin, Maryland.  She was grandmother to George Andrew Frank IV ( Lindsay), Mary Katherine Yannuzzi ( Jonathan) , Owen Connor Frank, Thomas James Schab, Alexander Joseph Schab.  Eleanor loved her great grandchildren, Samuel Paul Yannuzzi , Colton Gabriel Frank, Eleanor Catherine Yannuzzi ( named for her),  Sofia Grace Frank, Lucas Andrew Yannuzzi and Wesley Michael Yannuzzi.

Eleanor attended St. Martins Catholic School in Baltimore with her five siblings, Mary Sweeney Kronert , Margaret Sweeney Rogers, Rita Sweeney Talley and Owen Sweeney.  She married Vincent Weigman on June 11, 1949, and moved to Linthicum, Maryland where she was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Linthicum Woman’s Club and the Hibernians.  Upon Vincent’s passing on March 28, 2004, Eleanor moved to Charlestown Retirement Community where she enjoyed bridge  and spending time with her grandchildren and six great grandchildren .  Known for her classic style, she will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church 711 Maiden Choice Lane Catonsville, Maryland 21228 on Friday, September 6 at 11:00 AM
