Elizabeth Louise (Stadter) Aumiller

Elizabeth Louise (Betty Lou) Aumiller was born on August 19, 1927 to George Michael Stadter and Minnetta Angela (Krieger) Stadter. She died peacefully on September 19, 2021. She married Leonard Edward Aumiller in April, 1949. They enjoyed 67 years together until his death in 2016.
Betty is survived by 4 brothers, George, Robert, Richard and James Stadter and 1 sister, Mary Jane Ruppert. Betty is survived by 8 children, Patricia Fuller, Kathy Ullrich, Diane Moberg, Michael Aumiller, Lynne Kellner, Jeffrey Aumiller, Lisa Inglisa, and Laura Forrest. She had 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren who were the loves of her life.
Betty will be remembered for her all-around kindness, whether it was preparing meals for neighbors, making meals or baked goods for the sick or for a church fundraiser, providing rides to coworkers or the many friends of her children. She was proud of her work at the Telephone Company right after graduating Catholic High School and in later years, as her children grew older, she worked in accounting for Monumental Life Insurance Company. Betty enjoyed quilting and made numerous quilts for her children, grandchildren, and other family members. She loved dogs, the beach, chocolate, and gardening flowers and vegetables which provided for jams, pickles, and relishes that she shared with all. She is most remembered for being the heart of the family and was most happy when the house was full. She provided support for each child and grandchild and always loved having the family together for meals.
The family will receive friends and family, at The Candle Light Funeral Home by Craig Witzke, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville MD on Monday, September 27, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Fullerton Catholic Church, 8420 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD at 10am on Tuesday, September 28. Interment will be private immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Joseph’s Nursing Home Catonsville, MD ( http://www.stjosephs.net/ ), or the Wolf Sanctuary of PA ( https://wolfsanctuarypa.org/ ), or any animal rescue organization of your choice.
