Elizabeth "Liz" (Grochowski) Pelczar

Elizabeth Grochowski Pelczar was born in Maryland on August 28, 1939. She passed peacefully on December 31, 2024 at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Marie Grochowski, including her son, Michael S. Pelczar.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael E. Pelczar, M.D. As well as with her loving children, Neil E. Pelczar, Karen P. Hardingham (James Himmelheber) and her dear siblings, Michael W. Grochowski (Sherri) and Stephen J. Grochowski (Kathy). Elizabeth was a cherished grandmother to Sarah Knox (Ryan), Emily Lam (Devin) and her adored great grandchildren, Amelia Grace Lam, Charlotte Anne Knox and Holden Hayes Lam. Her loss will be felt by many other caring family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to The Star Community .

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, January 10 at 11AM in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, Charlestown Retirement Community. Family will receive guests from 10AM-11AM.
