Enid Elaine Spicer (nee Fritz) was born on January 23, 1927. She was the youngest of the four children of Emil and Elsie Fritz. Enid had two sisters, Hildegard and Ruth, and a brother Daniel. They were raised on Bentalou Street in the Walbrook area of West Baltimore. Enid completed the eleventh grade from Western High School and shortly thereafter began working for C&P Telephone as a switchboard operator. After a time there, she worked for the Social Security Administration as a keypunch operator at the Candler Building on East Pratt Street. During her time there, she met Norman E. Spicer Jr., They married on October 1, 1946. At that point, her career path changed one last time, and she went to be a homemaker and loving mother to her six boys. She worked tirelessly to make sure her sons were taken care of. She was dearly loved by family, friends, and neighbors. Enid went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2018. She will be surely missed.

On July 21, 2018, Enid Elaine Spicer (nee Fritz); beloved wife of the late Norman Edward Spicer Jr.; devoted mother of Douglas Martin Spicer, Kirk Emil Spicer and his wife Donna, Keith Lee Spicer and his wife Debbie, Mark Alan Spicer and his wife Mary, Eric Martin Spicer, and the late Scott Lee Spicer; dear sister of the late Hilegard Tracey, Ruth Burkowske, and Daniel Fritz. Also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the CANDLE LIGHT FUNERAL HOME by Craig Witzke, 1835 Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD. 21228 on Wednesday from 11:00am to 12:00pm, where at funeral service will be held at 12:00pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
