Florence Macdonald
May 23, 1928 — June 7, 2015
Mrs. Florence J MacDonald of Catonsville, 87, passed away peacefully on June 7th, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Neil M J MacDonald, mother of Carol Hufnagle of Owings Mills and Joyce MacDonald of Catonsville, sister of Marie Aube of Framingham Massachusetts, and grandmother of Amy and Allison Hufnagle of Owings Mills.
Born in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, Mrs MacDonald graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School and attended Burdett’s business school in Boston. She moved to Weymouth Massachusetts from West Roxbury in 1962, to South Dennis on Cape Cod in 1994, and to the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville in 2010.
There will be a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Angels Chapel at Charlestown at 11am on Thursday, June 18th, with family visitation at 10:30am.
Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne is planned for later in the summer.
