It is with great sadness that the family of Frederick George Luckert Jr, 76, of Woodstock, Maryland, announce he passed away from a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

Fred is the son of the late Mary Louise (Scannell)  and Frederick G Luckert, Sr, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

Fred is survived by his wife of 54 years, Penny (Daniels), his children; Kim Watson (Albert), Courtney Fouse (Adam), Scott Luckert (Melissa),  his grandchildren; Zachary Tavares, Reagan Fouse, Jayce Luckert, and is predeceased  by his grandson James (J.P.) Watson and brother in law Jerry Arnold.

Fred is also survived by his sister Barbara Aymold (John) and Susan, along with many nieces and nephews whom he loved greatly.

Fred was a Catonsville boy through and through. From attending St Marks and Mount St Joe, you could find him every year at the annual Catonsville 4th of July parade.

After college at the University of Baltimore, Fred married the love of his life, Penny and enjoyed everything and anything that involved his grandchildren; from watching baseball games to dance recitals. He always made sure to catch every Ravens and Orioles game. Fred loved making everyone laugh. To know Fred was to know that he had to make you smile and most of all, he had to make you laugh.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association https://www.alz.org
