George Howden Green, Jr.

On November 1, our vibrant, playful, beloved son Georgie departed this earth far too soon.  A lifelong resident of Bel Air, he attended Harford Day School, Southhampton Middle School, and C Milton Wright High School.  As a youngster he was a regular Math Award winner at Harford Day and had a passion for reading, sometimes completing novels in one day.  He was blessed with great sensitivity and caring, always ready to pitch in and help to make anyone happy.  He is survived by parents, George Green Sr. (Mary Gilleland) and Maureen Green (Wayne Richardson), two children Jasper (Ellen Johnson) and Makenna (Sydney Youket) and brother, William (Billy) Green and his maternal grandparents Louis McDermott Jr and June Fields.  Georgie was pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents David Green and Mary Green.  Georgie will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  We will all miss Georgie’s large smile, bright eyes and generous bear hugs as well as sharing time at the beach and football games among many other shared activities.  Visitation will be on Thursday November 5 from 5-9pm at Candle Light Funeral Home Catonsville MD.  Services will be Friday November 6, 11am at the funeral home.  You may leave a condolence online on this page.  Family would appreciate your support of local addiction and recovery charities.
