George Tivvis

On Thursday, July 4, 2019, George Tivvis, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at age 59. George was born on March 8, 1960 to John F. Tivvis Jr. and Virginia M. Rosetti in Baltimore, Maryland. George was a devoted husband to Tia and father to Cassidy and her husband Carey, Zachary and his wife Lauren, Madison and her fiancé Neguse, and Sydney. He was blessed with his granddaughter, Abigail.

George was a proud member of the I.A.T.S.E Local #19 for 44 years where he served as a leader, teacher, and inspiration to all of his union brothers. He was not only passionate about his work, but an avid fan of Baltimore Ravens football. George was dedicated to his family and loved taking trips to Walt Disney World and Ocean City, MD. His infectious spirit will always be remembered and surely missed.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Candle Light Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. With a service to follow at 11:00 am
