Guinn Clark

Guinn G. Clark, 70 , passed away on May 23, 2015 at the Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, Maryland. Born July 20, 1944 in Laurinburg-Maxton AAB Maxton, North Carolina he was the son of the late Jack D. and Doris (Guinn) Clark. Guinn was raised in Iowa and graduated from Centerville High School. He then entered the United States Naval Academy with the Class of 1966. Upon graduation in 1966 he became a Naval Flight Officer and served until 1973.  After leaving the Navy he went to work for Westinghouse Corporation at BWI airport. He also worked for Thompson CFS and then started his own management company from which he retired in 2010.

Guinn enjoyed playing golf as a member of Rolling Road Golf Club and at The Villages in Florida. He also participated in USNA ’66 alumni events, and art classes.

Guinn is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan (Cummins); 2 sons Thomas D. (Tanya) and Barry G. (Helen) Clark; a sister, Pennie Sue Mosley (Dwight) and a brother, Carl C. Clark (Evelyn). He was also the devoted Grandfather of Hannah, Lauren, Olivia, Stella, Frances, Charlotte, and Margaret Clark.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life on Monday, June 1st, 2015 at 11AM at Rolling Road Golf Club  814 Hilltop Road Catonsville, MD 21228. Interment is private.
