Gwendolyn Jean Morel

Gwendolyn Jean Morel, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2021. She is the beloved wife of the late John A. Morel; devoted mother of J. Michael Morel and his wife Lori, Maribeth Morel-Smith and her husband Bruce, and Lydia Keys and her husband Richard; grandmother of Jane Morel, Jacob Morel, Garrett Smith, Luke Morel, Conner Keys, Maddy Keys, and Jenna Keys; dear sister of Veronica White and the late Evelyn Hemler and the late Marlyn Schreiber; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Candle Light Funeral Home by Craig Witzke, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at St. Clement Catholic Church at 10am followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Gwendolyn’s memory to St. Clement Catholic Church. Arrangements and services conducted by Ambrose Funeral Home.
