Helen (Love) Grafton
April 7, 1947 — June 14, 2017
Helen "Bunny" Grafton passed peacefully into eternal life on June 14, 2017, holding the hand of her youngest granddaughter.
Born in Baltimore to Eunice and Robert Love on April 7, 1947, she graduated from Eastern High School in 1965, and then followed in her Mother's footsteps attending and graduating from Union Memorial Nursing School. She married David Grafton in 1967, and worked as a Registered Nurse in area hospitals, schools, and for the State of Maryland until her retirement. Her passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter Jennifer Straughn and son-in-law Mark Straughn, grandchildren Hannah, Ellie, Christian, and Annette Straughn, daughter Carrie Grafton, sister Roberta "Bobbi" Valencia and husband Lou Valencia, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Wendy, and husband David Grafton.
A memorial will be held at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Rd Catonsville, MD 21228, on Saturday June 24 from 12 pm-1 pm, followed by a prayer service at 1 pm.
