Helga I. (Luethje) Trummer

Helga Ilse Trummer, (79) died peacefully on May 9, 2017, surrounded by her three children. She was the beloved wife of the late Gunther Trummer with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. She was pre-deceased by her sister Gisela Schmidt, and brother Kurt Luethje, both of Hamburg Germany, and leaves behind one sister:  Renate Mossbeck also of Hamburg, Germany.

She was a loving mother to Wolfram Trummer (Beth) of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Heidi Gido (Mike) of Ellicott City, Maryland and Sven Trummer (Nina) of Bristow, Virginia. She leaves behind 9 beautiful grandchildren:  Alexander, Christian, and  Lauren Trummer (Wolfram), Andrew and Thomas Gido (Heidi), and Allison, Luke, Erik, and Isabella Trummer (Sven).

Helga was very proud of her German heritage and loved to share her German recipes and German dishes with everyone.  She was a fantastic cook and her baked goods were practically legendary. Her playful, quirky humor, love and generosity will be missed by her friends and family. Helga loved to share. If she came across a recipe, kitchen gadget or anything that she thought was wonderful, she had to share it. Helga was a happy, carefree spirit who loved people and lived each day to the fullest her way. She will be missed by many as she has left  her handprint on all of our hearts.
