Howard Berl Olgesby

Howard Oglesby passed peacefully on December 27, 2021. He was born on Oregon in November of 1947. He spent much of his early years growing up in Texas. Howard was the eldest of four, and entered the Air Force after school to learn the aircraft mechanic trade. Howard served over twenty years, with service during the war in Vietnam and several overseas stations after the war. He settled back in Texas, and married Barbara Jean Miller. Together they moved to Gainesville, Georgia where Howard worked for Lawn Doctor and Nitta Corporation of America. He is survived by his brother Kenneth Oglesby, his step-sons Robert and Miller Johnson, his daughter-in-law Patricia A. Johnson, and his three grandchildren Griffin, Rain, and Anna Johnson.Howard’s ashes will be scattered in Texas along with his beloved wife among the Bluebonnets. Howard lived for his family. He is very much missed and we will carry his light with us for the rest of our days.
