James Louis Angelo

On Thursday, December 28, 2023, James Louis Angelo passed away at his Catonsville, Maryland home. Born to the late James Nicholas Angelo and the late Joan Rose Angelo (nee: Nicholson) on Thursday, November 11, 1948 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey; he was 75.

Jimmy was an avid golfer and was referred to as "The Godfather" of Rolling Road Golf Club. He was a hilarious storyteller and loved to add humor to his stories, creating many laughs from those around him. Jim was always ready to dance, whether it was fast paced or a cheek to cheek slow song. Jimmy's love and devotion to his wife was immeasurable. Their love story was one for the history books. He was extremely dedicated to his family and friends. If you were lucky enough to meet Jimmy- you quickly loved Jimmy!!


Jimmy is survived by his devoted spouse, Debbie Angelo (nee: Dashiells) and their loving children: Nick Angelo (wife, Sarah), and Kelly Cofiell (husband, Travis); and three cherished grandchildren: Benjamin, Charlotte, and Evelyn Cofiell. James is also survived by his brother, Bob Angelo (wife, Catherine), and sisters, Patty Harris (husband, Mike) and Kathy Frank (husband, Jim).

Jim's family will welcome guests for Visitations at the Candle Light Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jimmy on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Augustine Church, 5976 Old Washington Rd, Elkridge, MD 21075, followed by a Graveside Service at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave, Baltimore, MD 21229.
