Jerry Valenstein
October 8, 1926 — July 25, 2014
Jerry R Valenstein, Age 87, entered into eternal peace on Friday, July 25, 2014, at the Gilchrist Hospice Center in Columbia, MD surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was born on October 08, 1926, son of the late Martin & Gertude Valenstein. He graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic School. Jerry worked for the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company as a Construction design Engineer. He married the late Jean Valenstein on October 29, 1955. Jerry was a Past Master for the John H.B. Latrobe Masonic Lodge #165. He was also a member of the Rolling Road Golf Club for more than 40 years where he served 2 terms as President. Jerry was also a Past President of the Baltimore Gas & Electric Association.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jean Valenstein in 2012. He is also predeceased by his brother Ret Col Earl Valenstein.
He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his daughter Cindy Carroll and Son In Law Steve Carroll, sons Rusty Valenstein and Daughter In law Sandy Valenstein, Keith Valenstein and Daughter In law Amy Valenstein, and Randy Valenstein and his devoted partner Lisha Weber. Grandchildren Amanda ( Robert ) Greenstreet and Eric ( Erica ), Shane ( Lauren), Jessica, Ashley and Nick Valenstein and Jordyn Minty, Megan and Hunter Harmon-Valenstein. Great Grandchildren Robbie, Cameron and Kayla Greenstreet, Brooklyn Valenstein and Logan Shepley.
