Joan Price Bannon
November 13, 1940 — April 7, 2025
Joan Price Bannon, who was called Mimi by many, was born in La Plata, Maryland on November 13, 1940, to the late John Wesley and Mary Louise Price. She passed peacefully on April 7, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late John Michael Bannon.
Joan was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and a friend to all. She was an avid tennis player and later in her life an active golfer. She loved playing cards and board games with friends and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving children, Jack Bannon (Jennifer), Laura Schwing (Stephen) as well as her cherished grandchildren, Madeline Schwing, Ian Schwing, Lilly Schwing and Aubrey Bannon. Her loss will be felt by many other caring family and friends.

Family and friends may gather for a memorial gathering on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Candle Light Funeral Home. Mass will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Chapel, 15 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228 with inurnment following mass at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mt View Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104.
