It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Marie Coe, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Joan Marie Coe, born on October 22, 1939, in Maryland, peacefully left this world on August 2, 2024 in Henderson, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marie Poremski as well as her late husband, George Coe and brothers, Thomas, Bernard, and Robert Poremski.

Joan was born in Highland town, Maryland but lived most of her life in Baltimore Highlands. She was a devoted and caring individual, known for her kind-hearted nature and unwavering love for her family. Her nurturing spirit and compassion touched the hearts of all those she encountered, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness.

Joan Marie Coe is survived by her loving children, James Coe (Lisa), Brian Coe, and Diane Klasmeyer. Including her cherished grandchildren Crystal Ballejos, Jamie Coe, Jessica Coe, Brian Coe, Nathan Klasmeyer, and Casey Klasmeyer. And great grandchildren. Sophia Ballejos, Jasmine Cooper, Ezekiel Mena, Jameson Cooper, Alfred Mena, Penelope Granados, Jason Cooper, Maxamillion “Surfer” Mena, Jackson “Apple Jack” Cooper and Timothy James Mena.

Private burial for Joan Coe will be held at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Joan’s honor.
