John Drew Cullen

John Drew Cullen, 62, passed away quietly at home on September 18, 2014. Born in Clark, NJ, John was a Baltimore resident for over 30 years. John worked for Aon as Director - Aon SDO/Shared Data Services.  He worked at Aon and its predecessor company, Alexander & Alexander, since 1991.  Known for his lightness of heart and fun-loving nature, he will also be remembered for his ability bring laughter and joy to everyone he met. His life-long love of the arts along with his ability to seek out the beauty and joy of this world is a true testament as to how he lived his life. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched with his broad smile, contagious laughter, and his love of all things silly and irreverent. John was preceded by his parents. He is survived by his loving partner Thomas Shaffer; his step-mother Bernice Cullen; his sisters Denise Romaniello, her husband Joseph and three children Christopher, Brian, and Emma; his sister Catherine Dettmann, her husband Richard and two children Elizabeth and Richard; along with his youngest sister Frances Cullen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 11, 2014, from 1pm-3pm at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228.
