John David Magez Iii
May 9, 1928 — May 27, 2016
On Friday morning, May 27, 2016, John David Magez III of Ellicott City, passed away. He is survived by three children, Charles Magez, Candy Reber and her husband Joel, and Susie Metcalf and her husband Les, ten grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
John grew up in Baltimore as an only child. He was enlisted in the Navy and served during WWII aboard the U.S.S. Marquette. After serving for the Navy, he took over his fathers heating and air conditioning business. He retired young to enjoy many cruises. He loved to take long walks at the park or the mall with his family up until he was 80.
Family and friends are welcome to his viewing on Wednesday, June 1st at 10am followed by a funeral service at 11am.
