John Quirk
June 22, 1922 — May 20, 2018
On Sunday May 20, 2018 John Quirk passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. John was born in Woodstown, New Jersey son of Thomas and Mary Quirk (Smith). John is one of 20 children in the Quirk family.
John worked as a horse breaker for several different Rodeos around the country before serving in the military. John served in the United States Army from September 1942 through December 1945 with 15th Calvary Unit. John served in World War II in Normandy, North France, Rhineland and Central Europe. After his military service John retired from Green Spring Dairy in 1987.
John is survived by his wife of 57 years Mary Jane Quirk (Cascio), Sister Dorothy Basil, Brother Ralph Quirk, Brother Richard Quirk, Brother Leo Quirk, Brother Earl Quirk, Daughter Mary Patricia Quirk, Son John Fitzgerald Quirk, Daughter-In-Law Sarah Quirk (Eagle), Grandson Patrick John Quirk, Grandson Eric Thomas Quirk and Granddaughter Abigail Jane Quirk.
