John "Jack" Stanley Snyder
July 10, 1954 — December 15, 2023
On December 15, 2023, John “Jack” Snyder, 69, of Catonsville, MD, passed away. He was the son of the late Grace Betty Meacham (nee Houck) and step-son of the late Richard Horace Meacham; loving brother to Tammy Beck & devoted uncle to Frank Meekins (Erin), Christin & Rachel Lepson. Also survived by loving family and loyal friends.
Jack was a lifelong resident of Catonsville and loved by many. He had a smile for friends and strangers alike. He would strike up a conversation with anyone, especially if it was about his beloved Orioles baseball team. Jack worked for 23 years at Giant, where he retired earlier this year. He also participated in many softball and bowling leagues throughout his life. He loved all animals, but had a particular fondness for horses.
A funeral service to celebrate Jack’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
