On September 24, 2022, Joseph B. McDonald passed away peacefully at his home in Catonsville Maryland surrounded by his family. Born on March 21, 1931, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Marie (née Lowell) McDonald.
He is survived by his devoted children, Joe McDonald, Mary (Frank) Aquino, Gina (Gary) Bruzdzinski, Elizabeth (Adolfo) Riitano, Megan (Robert) Manogue, and his adoring grandchildren Kaitlin (Priyam) Acharya, Liam Aquino, Kelly Aquino, Emma Bruzdzinski, Kara Bruzdzinski, Troy Bruzdzinski, Massimo Riitano, Luca Riitano, Diego Riitano, Isabella Riitano, Sean Manogue, Anna Manogue, Kevin Manogue and his great-grandson Cillian Acharya.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
Family will receive friends on Thursday September 29th from 3-5 pm and 6-8 pm at Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Friday, September 30 at St. Mark’s Chapel at 30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville MD, 21228
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them at Matthew’s 1600 (1600 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228) for a celebration of life luncheon immediately following the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will be private.
