Joseph Mark Price (Joe), 62, of Windsor Mill, Maryland passed away Friday July 24, 2020 quietly at home after his long battle with cancer. He was born in Takoma Park, Maryland September 26, 1957 to Sally and Robert Price both have preceded him in death.
He graduated from Blair High School in 1976, and was a proud Blair Alumni.
November 17, 1985 Joseph married Sherry Ann (Schmachtenberg) they were married till his death, almost 35 years.
Joe had a long and successful career in the automotive parts business. He retired from Criswell Audi as their Parts Manager in January 2019 due sadly to his health. He served many times on Parts Council’s for multiple manufacturers.
He was a proud Masonic Mason for 31 years. Joe was a huge car enthusiast, his collection included 1961 Corvette, 1969 Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet, 2003 50th anniversary Corvette, 70 6 Pack Charger, 2010 SRT Hemi Challenger and 2015 Mustang GT Convertible. He also loved his hometown sports team; The Ravens, Orioles, Senators and Caps. And can’t forget his love for NASCAR and NHRA racing. Music was also a large part of his life, he was the soundman for his brother band.
Joe is survived by his wife Sherry (Schmachtenberg), his brother Richard Price, niece Star Melvin (Price)
Her husband Sean, children Brody and Sailor, nephew Nathan Price, sister-in-law Linda Wilkerson, step nephew Trevor Wilkerson his wife Gina, Lexi, Skyler, Legacy and Legend, father-in-law Richard Schmachtenberg, Brother-in-law Rick Schmachtenberg his wife Debra , children Stefan and Jennifer and three Godchildren Kelsey Scall, Kyle Brickhouse and Patrick Josey.
Family and friends may gather at the CANDLE LIGHT FUNERAL HOME by Craig Witzke on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, 10 am - 10:30 am. Funeral service to follow immediately at 10:30 am. Interment Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date once restrictions have been lifted.
