Karen Ann (Ford) Henderson

Karen Ann (Ford) Henderson, 67, passed away October 16, 2015 surrounded by her husband and children.

Karen dedicated her life in service to others as a public school bus attendant, a volunteer with many organizations, and an avid animal rescue advocate. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, helping others in any way she could, snuggles with her beloved kitty cats, quiet reading, and trips to her mountain getaway every summer.

Karen and her husband, Greg Henderson, Sr., have two children, Shannon Hogan (Raymond) and Gregory Henderson (Christine). Karen adored her grand-children, Jay Michael, Jackie, Leah, Brayden, Uther, Avery, and Olwyn. She was over the moon at the news of the arrival of her first great-grandchild in March 2016. Karen is the older sister of three brothers, Warren Ford, John (Pattie) Ford, and Larry Ford. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Carolyn (Freeburger) Ford.

Karen’s family would like to welcome all of her friends and family this coming Tuesday, October 20, at Candle Light Funeral Home at 1835 Frederick Road in Catonsville, Maryland. All are welcome to come together at 5:00 pm, with memorial service to follow at 7:00 pm.
