Leroy A. "Lee" Pohlman

Leroy Albert “Lee” Pohlman, 81, of Catonsville, died on Saturday February 29, 2020. He was born on August 29, 1938 in Baltimore and was the son of the late Albert W. Pohlman and Florence Shearer Pohlman.

Lee graduated from Calvert Hall College in 1957.  After graduating, he enlisted in the Army National Guard and served from 1959 to 1965. In 1964, he married the love of his life Catherine Wise. He worked as an electrician for several years eventually going to work for The Bell System. He worked there until his retirement from Verizon in 2000.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Catherine Norris (Edward), David Pohlman (Sabrina), Jennifer Oates and his grandchildren, Allyson and Stephanie Norris, Joseph and Jessica Pohlman, Nicholas, Caitlyn and John Oates, his siblings John, Dorothy and Michael. His sister Ann predeceased him.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Candle Light Funeral Home on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 5pm to 7pm. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mark's Chapel on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 10am.
