Lillian Florentine (Sudol) Gajewski

Lillian Florentine Gajewski, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, at the age of 97.

Born on April 29, 1926, in Miners Mill, PA, Lillian was the last surviving child of her Polish immigrant parents. As the youngest of five siblings, she grew up surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Lillian dedicated her life to creating a loving home for her family. Always ready to extend a warm welcome, Lillian saw the best in those around her and loved unconditionally. She valued the simple pleasures in life and took great pride in her family and friends. Her generosity, humility, and loving nature will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her.

Lillian is survived by her loving sons, Lawrence Gajewski and Joseph Gajewski (late wife Cathy Gajewski). She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Scott Gajewski, Jeanine Clingenpeel (husband Travis), Joshua Gajewski (wife Michelle), and Erica Harris (husband Kirby), as well as her adoring great-grandchildren, Asher Clingenpeel, Imogen Clingenpeel, Mark Gajewski, Amity Gajewski, Madison Harris, Alana Harris, and Seanna Harris. She will be missed by many other dear family and friends, including niece Mary Ann Himmelmann.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Candle Light Funeral Home, 1835 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD 21228. Funeral services will be held at the Candle Light Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:30 am, followed by her burial at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 6515 Boston Street, Baltimore, MD 21224.
