Nellie Lorraine McShane
Lorraine gained her angel wings on Thursday June 27, 2019
She was born in Baltimore on July 2, 1928 to William Jenkins and Margaret Jenkins.
She attended Forest Park High school, graduating in 1946. She married Navy veteran Philip McShane on March 28, 1947. She was a long time employee of the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, MD. A woman of deep and abiding faith, she was a lifelong member of the Methodist church. Known for her smile and sense of humor, she will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Phil in 2017 and by two sisters, Rosalind Gandy and Eileen Goldhammer, and a special niece Joanne.
She is survived by her son, Tim McShane (Lisa), and daughter Lee Gordon (Steve) and three beloved grandchildren, Caitlin Gordon, Andrew Gordon (Kate) and Savannah McShane. She is also survived by three special nieces, Rosalie Gandy, Diane Tillery (Chris) and Donna Mc Claugherty (Rob) and their families.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the compassionate and excellent care given her by the staff of Morningside House of Ellicott City over the past two years.

A visitation for Lorraine will be held at Candle Light Funeral Home on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a funeral service following at 11:00am. Interment at Druid Ridge Cemetery.
