Margaret Gibson Garner, 103, resident of Vantage Point in Columbia.
Margaret aka "Margo", was born April 27, 1916 in Newport, North Carolina. She moved to DC with her father when she was very young. She lived in the DC area working as a reporter for the lower house, high school math and science teacher as well as NSA. Ms. Garner was never married. Once retired, she moved to Vantage House in Columbia, MD. She lived in Columbia until she passed away at age 103. She will be laid to rest in Maplewood cemetery, Wilson NC beside her parents.
