Margaret Khan

Margaret “Peggy” Khan passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on Saturday, October 7, 2023, in her Columbia, Maryland home after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Rochester, New York on November 28, 1955, to Jack and Lorraine Lynch. In addition to her parents, Peggy is predeceased by her sisters, Kathy Piper and Pat Maier, and her brother-in-law, Morten Solberg. Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Pyles of Columbia, Maryland; her brother, Ray Lynch (Terry) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her brother-in-law Travis Piper of Victor, New York; her sisters, Terri Solberg and Mary Rogers (Ronald Shafer), both of Williamsburg, Virginia; and her first husband, Ali Sardar of New York, New York. A celebration of life ceremony is being planned for early next year.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages to make donations in Peggy’s name to Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer, Inc. (SPOHNC.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and meeting the needs of oral and head and neck cancer patients.
