Margaret Loretta Sullivan

Margaret Loretta Sullivan, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Life Spring Assisted Living in Catonsville, MD.

Born: October 8, 1931 in Chester, PA

Margaret is survived by two grateful sisters, Kathleen Patricia Erdlen of Warminster, PA and Nora Helene Cohee of Biglerville, PA and numerous nieces and nephews and grand and great nieces and nephews. Dear Aunt Peg is fondly remembered for her generosity to family and friends throughout her life. She was an exemplary model of a life of service, living the corporal and spiritual works of mercy without fanfare or desiring recognition. Her careers included: Franciscan nun; computer database developer and analyst for Philadelphia Electric Company; landlady of a 5-unit apartment complex. She was an incurable lover of all strays - cats, dogs and the occasional lost soul - an avid gardener and an athlete.

Peg was predeceased by her parents, Dennis and Mary Corcoran Sullivan, three sisters: Mary (and spouse, Paul) Noonan, Julia (and Chester) Kozubal,  Anna (and Pat) McIllhenney, and three brothers: John (and spouse, Elsie) Sullivan, Dennis Sullivan, and James (and Betty) Sullivan.

Nephew, Gerry Cohee, and niece, Monica Quade, provided tender loving care and compassion for Aunt Peg along with the extraordinary caregivers at Life Spring Assisted Living. The extended family is forever grateful to all of them for their love and example.
