On October 15, 2015, Martin Colson Harris passed away to be with God in Heaven. Marty is survived by his children, Jennifer Harris McDevitt (Kevin), Erik Martin Harris, Neil Martin Harris (Megan Emala), Shannon Marie Harris and Martin Harris, Jr.  Marty is also survived by his one and only grandchild, Ava Marie McDevitt who he adored so very much.  He is predeceased by his wife, Lynn Harris and his parents Paul F. Harris, Sr. and Doris Harris. Marty is survived by his brother, Honorable Paul F. Harris, Jr.,  Anne Arundel County Circuit Court and his wife Connie. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Harris Byroade (David). Marty is survived by his nephews, Paul F. Harris, III, Lucas Harris (Dory), Harry Harris, David Byroade, Jr. and niece Heather Byroade Holsey  (Doug).  He is also survived by his former spouse, Joan Dantoni Harris. Marty attended and graduated from St. Mark Catholic School in Catonsville and was a 1973 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph High School.  Marty worked for many years as a lineman for Amtrak.  Prior to working for Amtrak, Marty worked for Gambino Electric in Catonsville.  Marty enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking and was an outstanding artist. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball with his son Neil. Marty enjoyed being a Grandfather to his beautiful 5 year old granddaughter,  Ava Marie McDevitt.  Ava would love seeing her "PAPPY".  Marty totally treasured his little grandchild so very much and looked forward to his special visits with Ava.    Marty was loved by many people in his life and was truly a very caring and kind person.  Marty will be missed as he touched many lives in so many ways.  May Marty have eternal peace with God and look over all who loved him so much and shared in his 60 years of life.  Rest in peace.  You were ever so loved. You were taken too soon.  May Marty find everlasting peace in Heaven with our Lord.
