Mary Katherine Larwood

Mary Larwood, 89 of Baltimore Maryland passed away Wednesday evening, January 17th, peacefully with her family by her side.   Mary was the coolest mom and grand mom ever.  Though she was always the shortest person in any room, she had the biggest heart.  Nothing made her happier than hanging out with her family.  She loved when her kids and grandkids would come by for a game of cards, scrabble, or board games and would never let anyone win.  She also loved family gatherings or going to events and vacations (from a cook out, an Orioles game, or even Vegas).

Mary was a friend to everyone she met.  She was the sweetest person imaginable and never had a bad word to say about anyone.   The friends she had were friends for life, no matter where they may have moved.  Her neighbors adored her, and would frequently stop by for a chat on her front porch with the neighborhood news and gossip.

Having grown up poor, Mary knew the value of hard work and she instilled this in her kids.  She led by example, working up until this last December.  Until her passing, she remained independent, living on her own and managing her house, which was always clean and organized.

Her family of 5 children, 12 grandkids, 14 great-grand kids, and all of her extended family from her 2 brothers and 2 sisters will miss her so, so much.
