Nathan Woodward Profile Photo

Nathan David Woodward was called home to be with Jesus on October 7th, 2015. He spent his final days at home, surrounded by his loving family. He may have only been with us a short time, but he changed us all forever.
Nathan was a sweet little boy who captured the hearts of all who cared for him. He was continuously surrounded by doting people who would rock him, walk him up and down the hall, or rub his perpetually sweaty head. Nathan was very social and his favorite past time was people watching. Nathan was a mighty warrior. He battled through frequent surgeries and innumerable medical procedures. He bore it all with immense patience and grace. Despite the struggles he endured, Nathan learned to smile and laugh with those around him. His siblings were especially skilled in eliciting great bellylaughs.
Nathan is survived by his devoted parents, Kurt & Christina; three sisters, Alexis, Brianna, & Clara; two brothers Michael & Owen (his identical twin), and a host of extended family.
In life, Nathan was adored and supported by several communities to include his immediate and extended families, the Johns Hopkins health care system and Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital, the Calvary Chapel and Classical Conversations Christian communities, his local neighbors, members of the United States Marine Corps, and numerous others.
